Awais Metal Recycling (AMR). is a privately owned, family operated business that specialises in Recycling Non ferrous metal scrap, mainly aluminium. Originally Qamar Metal Exchange.
Found by Mr Qamar Iqbal in 1982 when the concept of recycling was very new and different, he took notice of the potential market and future of the business in Pakistan because of it being a new and underdeveloped country, he set out for success and nothing else. After years of hard work and efforts he made Qamar Metal Exchange works one of the largest Aluminium metal recycling company in Pakistan, and put Pakistan on the map internationally becoming the first and only member of BIR.. Having sent his kids to Canada for a better education and a broader mind his son Awais Qamar came back to Pakistan and joined the company in 2010 and created (AMR) in 2014 with its head office in Canada. Recycling Aluminium scrap and creating secondary ingots for domestic and international markets.
